1. Arrive at a charging station
   • Locate a compatible charging station within the smart charge@street network using the app or map services.
2. Follow on-screen instructions
   • Charging stations may guide you through one of these processes:
   • Authentication first: Use your charging card to authenticate.
   • Cable first: Insert the cable into your vehicle's charging port as instructed.
   • In some models' cases via Plug & Charge: Plug in the cable, and charging will start automatically without additional authentication.
3. Begin charging
   • After successful authentication, the charging session will start automatically.
4. Stopping the charging session
   • Depending on how you started the session, you can end it in different ways:
   • Unplugging the cable: Select the “Stop” button on the charger, or for some car models, use the “Unplug” option via the car key or car display.
   • Using charging card: If you started the session with a charging card, swipe it again to stop the session.
5. Departure
   • Safely remove the cable from your vehicle and if the cable belongs to the station, ensure it is securely returned to the charging station before leaving.
